…really, it’s the little things in life:
Oh, and we also “buttoned up” the shower this weekend too:
Although, this is a pic of our “second buttoning” since we accidentally made the holes too big for the plumbing bits and the cover for our plumbing didn’t fit over top – oops! Fortunately, we are basically ready for tile whenever we get around to it! Which means….we need to get around to it! But this weekend was a certain someone’s 31st birthday (*cough*cough* Dr. J *cough*cough*). We had family in town this weekend to celebrate and it’s also Easter, so it’s a good time to take a weekend off from bathroom-ing. So far, we’ve put in 6 full weekends on the bathroom and we estimate somewhere between 4-5 more to get’er all wrapped up and put to bed. There’s “timing” you have to figure in as well. We can’t install the counters until the counter man comes to measure. Can’t install the shower door until ALL of the tile is finished (for the most accurate measurements, etc). Really, the counters and the shower door are our two “hold ups”. Fortunately, having lag time in there will help us figure out electrical situations, lighting, accessories, faucets, etc, etc.
It’s starting to feel like a room again, which is fabulous! Midnight potty breaks are so much more….available…the light is in sight…
