Tell’er How To

Dr. J and I were sitting around recently looking at all of the work we’ve done to our house and realized that we have done a ton of crap to this house!  It’s been 9 months since we’ve been here and we are still far from finished!  We’re constantly making mistakes learning as we go and we’re pretty confident we’re gonna keep trekking on the DIY adventure until we move onto the next house for a whole ‘nother set of projects (yikes!).  We know quite a few of our “regular readers” have been with us since Day 1 of the blogging extravaganza, but some of our posts are getting attention in the blog-o-sphere *and* in the web-o-sphere (I like to make up words – it makes me feel powerful!).  Our readership continues to climb (albeit slowly) and we thought it was about time to make it easier to navigate our humble lil’ blog and hopefully gather some more readers in the process!

So, without further ado, we finally created a “How To” section!  But in true Tell’er fashion, it’s not just any How To, it’s a Tell’er How To!  It’s still under contruction and we’re going to keep adding links to it as we go, but it might be a good resource if you’re looking to repaint some furniture, build a garden bed, or even do a little demo!

So what are you waiting for?!?  Head on over to the “How To” and get ready to feel inspired!

PS  We’ve climbed past 30,000 hits!  Hooray for us!

  1. Congrats on your increasing blog traffic! You are obviously doing something right:)

I think your mood board looks great. We used cork flooring in our cabin and love it. It is soft and warm compared to other flooring; the other flooring we used is linoleum (the original~ love that too!). And, the cork was easy to install, I think the pieces were about 1′ x 2 1/2′ if I remember correctly.

Enjoy this beautiful sun while it lasts:)

    • Hi, Heather!

So glad you came back! I love “meeting” other Oregonian bloggers! I’ve got you on my daily reader and I’ve enjoyed it! We can’t wait to do the cork flooring and I have heard nothing but good things about it and you are another happy customer, so I’m pretty sure we made the right decision! We’ve enjoyed this lovely weather, though the Oregonian malaise returns this week! Haha! Thanks, Heather!
